Please be advised that General Order 447 "Amended Guidelines for Professional Fees and Disbursements for Professionals in Southern District of New York Bankruptcy Cases" will be effective February 5, 2013.
CHANGES TO CERTAIN FILING FEES: Effective on Wednesday, November 21, 2012, the filing fee for commencing a case under chapter 9, 11 or 15 is increased to $1,213.00, and certain other fees have also been increased.
The CM/ECF server for the Chrysler and General Motors bankruptcy cases will be permanently unavailable as of 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 18, 2012. Both cases are being moved to the main CM/ECF server, available on Monday, October 22, 2012, at 8:30 AM. Please see the important details. click here.

M-432 Bankruptcy Judge Cecelia G. Morris has been appointed as the Chief Judge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, effective March 1, 2012.

The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York will go live with the latest version of the CM/ECF software Release 4.1/4.2, effective November 14, 2011.
Please note that the new features described below are not available in the Mega server (the server used to file all documents in the General Motors and Chrysler bankruptcy cases).
