PROPOSED GUIDELINES FOR COMMUNICATION AND COOPERATION BETWEEN COURTS IN CROSS-BORDER INSOLVENCY MATTERS
 
The Board of Judges of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York is proposing guidelines for use in chapter 15 cases, regarding cross-border communication and cooperation.  The proposed guidelines are available at: www.nysb.uscourts.gov by clicking on the “Forms/Guidelines” tab, and then clicking on the “Procedural Guidelines” link.
 
Please provide any comments with respect to the proposed guidelines by February 2, 2017 by 5:00 p.m.  Please submit all comments electronically to guidelines@nysb.uscourts.gov, or in writing to: Emily Kehoe, Law Clerk to the Honorable Chief Judge Cecelia G. Morris, Chapter 15 Guidelines, United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, 355 Main Street, Poughkeepsie, N.Y., 12601.  Please insert the phrase “Chapter 15 Guidelines” in the subject line of all comments.
 
The proposed guidelines will not become effective until adopted by the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
