Limited-Access e-filing

Employees of institutional creditors may obtain a limited-access account to file electronically on the Court's Electronic Case File (ECF) System. The limited-access account is intended for use by those who are not attorneys for filing specific claims-related filings. As the name of this account indicates, the account is limited in that the user has privileges to file selected documents only. A list of available docketing events can be found here.

A limited access account is not required if you are only interested in filing claims.   Creditors seeking to file proof(s) of claim in a particular case should file electronic proofs of claim via the court’s website at: https://ecf.nysb.uscourts.gov/cgi-bin/autoFilingClaims.pl.

To obtain limited access e-filing privileges please complete the steps below:

Step 1 – Register for a Non-Attorney filer account via PACER at https://pacer.uscourts.gov

Note: You must establish an account with PACER.

Step 2 – Complete Terms and Agreement

Note: This section must be notarized and saved as a PDF. Click here for a copy of the Terms and Agreement.

  • Print and read the Terms and Agreement.
