Bankruptcy Court (SDNY) to Discontinue Transmitting Proof of Claim Forms Through Bankruptcy Noticing Center:
Pursuant to the direction of the Administrative Office of the United States Courts (the "Administrative Office"),
our Court will discontinue transmitting the Official Form B10, Proof of Claim, through
the Bankruptcy Noticing Center ("BNC") as of October 1, 2011. Prior to that date,
the Proof of Claim form was included as an attachment to certain notices such as the
section 341(a) notice (i.e., the Notice of Case Commencement). Proof of Claim forms
will continue to be available on the Administrative Office's website, www.uscourts.gov
and on our Court's website, www.nysb.uscourts.gov.

The following Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure ("FRBP") have been amended as of December 1, 2010:
FRBP 1007, 1014, 1015,
1018, 1019, 4001, 4004, 5009, 7001 and 9001.
Also becoming effective on that date is a new rule: FRBP 5012.
The following national forms have been amended as of December 1, 2010:
- Official Forms B9A, B9C and B9I;
- Official Forms B20A and B20B;
- Official Forms B22A, B22B and B22C;
- Official Form B23; and
- Director’s Procedural Form B200.

Important Notice Regarding Time Period Changes Effective December 1, 2009,
Including 14-Day Deadlines for Filing Schedules, Statements, Chapter 13 Plans, and Bankruptcy Appellate Briefs
Among the time computation amendments to the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure that will take
effect on December 1, 2009, are changes to 12 rules that will result in a reduction by one day (from 15 to
14 days) of the time to take action. The affected rules are Bankruptcy Rules 1007, 1019, 1020, 2015, 2015.1,
2016, 3015, 4001, 4002, 6004, 6007, and 8009. Please take note of these changes and particularly of the new
14-day deadline for filing schedules, statements, and other documents under Rule 1007(c); for filing a chapter
13 plan under Rule 3015(b); and for filing appellate briefs under Rule 8009(a).
Please also note that several of our Local Rules, General Orders and Guidelines have been amended and revised
to conform to the time-related amendments to the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure, including Fed. R. Bankr.
P. 2002. Some of the amendments include a significant change in time periods for filing pleadings.

publicly available online. The audio files are accessible through the Public Access to Court Electronic
Records (PACER) system. Registration for PACER access may be obtained at
www.pacer.psc.uscourts.gov
Please remember that these digital recordings are copies of court proceedings and are provided as a
convenience to the public at the cost of $2.40 per audio file. In accordance with 28 U.S.C. § 753 (b)
"no transcripts of the proceedings of the court shall be considered as official except those made from
the records certified by the reporter or other individual designated to produce the record."
